The Duck Ride

The Duck Ride was another popular attraction among our members. Several groups took the one-hour tour. The Duck Stand (office) was conveniently located across the street from the Clarion. From there, Dale's group of 12 rode the duck to the river front where they entered the Tennessee River and became amphibian. From that point they drove and/or sailed around MacLellan Island, an Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary, and back. Dale said it was a very pleasant trip with a lot of interesting sights along the way The view of the bridges was spectacular.
